Sweet grilled corn on the cob with a smoky char and melting butter is a healthy, vegetarian cookout side. This fresh, family-favorite dish celebrates summer flavors at their peak.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Clean the grates thoroughly.
Remove husks and silk from each ear of corn to expose the kernels, but leave the stem attached for easier handling.
Brush each ear of corn lightly with 1/2 tbsp melted butter to help with browning and prevent sticking.
Place corn directly on the hot grill grates. Cook for 12–14 minutes, turning every 2–3 minutes to ensure even charring and avoid burning.
After removing from grill, immediately brush each ear with the remaining butter while hot. Sprinkle generously with kosher salt and black pepper before serving.
