Decadent turtle brownies layered with caramel, chocolate, and pecans are a rich, fudgy family treat. These loaded brownies combine multiple candy-bar flavors into one irresistible dessert.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
Melt butter and 1 cup chocolate chips together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and cool for 3 minutes.
Whisk in sugar until glossy, then add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and salt until combined.
Gently fold in flour just until incorporated. Spread half the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Drizzle half the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with half the pecans. Pour remaining batter over the top and spread gently.
Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top, sprinkle with extra chocolate chips and remaining pecans for texture.
Bake for 32–36 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (do not overbake for fudgy texture).
Cool brownies completely in pan before lifting out via parchment handles. Slice into 9 squares for serving.
