Creamy chicken Alfredo pasta is the ultimate comfort food, featuring tender chicken breast in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce. A family favorite that's loaded with protein and pairs well with a crisp side salad.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine pasta until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
While pasta cooks, heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breast (sliced into strips), season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 3 minutes, stirring frequently to ensure the mixture does not boil.
Add Parmesan cheese slowly, stirring constantly until fully melted and sauce thickens. Return chicken to the skillet and toss with cooked pasta. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
