Nourishing goji berry sweet soup with bright red berries is a traditional wellness dessert. A family recipe with fresh, naturally sweet, health-promoting flavor.
Rinse goji berries and dried longan under cold water, draining thoroughly to remove any dust or residue.
In a medium pot, combine the water, ginger slices, and rock sugar. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
Lower the heat to maintain a steady simmer, then add the dried longan. Cook for 10 minutes until the longan softens.
Add the goji berries and simmer for an additional 7–10 minutes, monitoring closely—goji berries should remain plump and not burst.
Remove from heat and let the soup cool slightly. Skim any foam, taste, and adjust sweetness if desired before serving warm or chilled.
