On semaglutide or Ozempic, pasta cravings are real — but refined pasta with heavy sauces is one of the worst foods on GLP-1 as it causes rapid blood sugar spikes and promotes nausea. These baked turkey meatballs with zucchini noodles provide 35g of lean protein with essentially zero refined carbohydrates. Avoid spaghetti and meatballs, pasta carbonara, and creamy alfredo that dramatically undermine your medication's blood sugar control. Zucchini noodles are your GLP-1 pasta solution.
