Tastes like a brownie, works like a breakfast. Chocolate protein baked oats went viral for a reason — it's the guilt-free morning treat everyone deserves.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat two 8-oz ramekins or a small baking dish with nonstick spray.
In a blender, combine the oats, chocolate protein powder, almond milk, egg, banana, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until smooth but not over-blended, about 20–30 seconds.
Let the batter rest for 3–5 minutes so the oats can hydrate, which improves final texture.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins or baking dish, tapping gently to remove air bubbles.
Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for 22–26 minutes, until the edges are set and the center springs back gently to touch. Do not overbake for a fudgy texture.
Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm for best taste—optionally, top with a little Greek yogurt or berries.
