Two flour tortillas pressed together with ham and melted cheese, griddled until crispy. A protein-packed, family-friendly Mexican snack that's essentially a Mexican-style grilled ham and cheese.
Preheat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Lay out 4 tortillas on a clean surface. Evenly top each with 2 slices of ham, then sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella on each.
Place a second tortilla over the cheese to form a sandwich. Press gently to seal.
Brush the top tortilla lightly with softened butter for crispness.
Carefully transfer each sincronizada to the heated skillet, buttered side down. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing occasionally with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
Slice into wedges and serve hot.
