A crispy-edged fried egg drizzled with soy sauce is a quick, protein-rich breakfast staple. A healthy, family-friendly recipe for clean eats mornings.
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking.
Crack each egg into a small bowl, then gently slide the eggs into the skillet to keep the yolks intact.
Let the eggs cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until the edges turn golden and crispy.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the skillet for 1 minute to set the whites without overcooking the yolk.
Drizzle 1 tsp soy sauce over each egg as soon as the whites are fully set. Transfer to a plate and season with a pinch of black pepper. Serve immediately.
