Thick-cut baked ham steaks glazed with brown sugar are a quick, protein-rich dinner the whole family enjoys. Simple to prepare and perfect alongside roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish for the ham steaks.
Add butter to a small saucepan and melt over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Mix in brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and black pepper to the melted butter. Stir until the glaze is thickened and uniform.
Arrange the ham steaks in the prepared baking dish. Pour the glaze evenly over both steaks, making sure to coat the tops completely.
Bake uncovered for 22–28 minutes, basting the ham steaks halfway through with pan juices, until the glaze bubbles and the steaks are hot throughout. Serve immediately.
