Stir-fried Kimchi with Beef Brisket—perfect for a spicy, savory meal when you have no appetite!
Heat a pan over medium heat and add the beef brisket. Stir-fry, flipping occasionally, until enough fat is rendered from the meat.
Once the beef starts to release its fat, add sliced onion and chopped green onion. Continue to stir-fry over medium heat until fragrant and flavorful.
Sprinkle 0.5 tablespoon of sugar over the meat and stir-fry to coat, making the beef more tender and enhancing its umami taste.
Push the ingredients to one side of the pan and pour 0.5 tablespoon of dark soy sauce into the cleared space, letting it bubble and thicken. Then add kimchi and Korean chili powder, and stir-fry quickly over high heat until the moisture is cooked off.
Once the kimchi is softened and cooked through, turn off the heat, drizzle with 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil, and toss everything together with the residual heat to finish.
