How to make Tuna Mayo Rice Balls—perfect for a quick breakfast or a simple lunch when you're pressed for time!
Drain canned tuna completely by pressing it through a strainer with a spoon to remove all oil for a light and clean taste.
Mix the drained tuna with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 0.5 teaspoon of sugar evenly, and check the consistency.
Add 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil and 0.5 teaspoon of black sesame seeds to 180g of warm rice. Gently mix without crushing the grains to season the rice.
Take half of the seasoned rice, spread it wide on your palm, and place the prepared tuna mayo filling in the center.
Cover with the remaining rice and firmly shape it into a triangle or ball, making sure the filling doesn’t spill out.
Finally, crumble the seasoned seaweed and evenly coat the outside of the rice ball to finish.
