Kimchi Pork Cutlet recipe – perfect when you crave something spicy and hearty!
Pound the pork with a meat mallet or the back of a knife to flatten it, then season with 0.5 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp pepper.
Coat the seasoned pork in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs to prepare the breading.
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the pork cutlets until golden brown on both sides, as if deep-frying.
In another small pan, add chopped aged kimchi, sliced onion, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 0.5 tablespoon sugar, and 0.5 tablespoon chili powder. Sauté over medium heat for 3 minutes.
Place the cut pork cutlet over the sautéed kimchi, cover with a lid, and let it warm through over low heat for 1 minute to finish.
