Mul Galbi recipe: hearty and satisfying when you crave tender meat in a spicy broth!
Soak the pork ribs in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess blood, then parboil them in boiling water for 5 minutes to get rid of impurities.
Rinse the parboiled ribs in cold water, place them in a pot, then add 300ml of water, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and ground ginger. Boil over high heat.
Once the broth comes to a boil, lower to medium-low heat and cover the pot. Simmer gently for about 20 minutes until the meat turns tender.
When the meat is cooked, add chili powder and pepper. Heap bean sprouts and soaked glass noodles on top of the meat.
Cover again and boil over high heat for 3 more minutes until the bean sprouts soften and the flavors infuse, then finish by adding green onions on top.
