Cut chicken breast for braising, shrimp, squid, tofu, bok choy, mung bean sprouts, cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and other ingredients into bite-sized pieces.
Heat olive oil or canola oil in a pan and sauté garlic and green onion to infuse the flavor.
Add mala sauce (low-sodium or low-calorie), doubanjiang (chili bean paste), and chili oil, and mix well.
Add chicken breast, seafood, and tofu first and stir-fry.
Add the remaining vegetables and stir-fry quickly over high heat.
Season to taste with pepper and salt as desired.
When the ingredients are cooked, plate and serve.
